Walter Cled Berry, 95, of Grand Prairie died Saturday, June 18, 2011, in Irving. Service: 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Moore Funeral Home with Steven Baxley officiating. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Moore Funeral Home.
Mr. Berry was born Jan. 30, 1916, in Anson. He was a member of Westside Church of Christ in Irving. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Sarah Z. Berry.
Survivors: Son and daughter-in-law, Walter C. Jr. and Gwen Berry of Albuquerque, N.M.; daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Millard Baxley Sr. of Irving; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
