Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve (RNVR. While stationed at the Brunswick Naval Air Station, Lt Waston was killed when his plane, and the plane of LCDR Alfred Jack Sewell collided in mid-air during a training exercise. He was buried 7 Oct 1943 with full military honors. LCDR. Sewell was buried in Plot No. 136.
