Mrs. Justice, age 107, of Charlotte, N.C., died on Monday, July 13, 2009, at home in Columbia, S.C., where she lived for the past 12 years with her daughter and granddaughter.
Born January 5, 1902, in Charlotte, she was the eldest child of Eli Brown and Margaret Ann Kaneer McCall.
She was predeceased by her husband of nearly fifty years, Leon Gardin Justice; brothers, John and Jim McCall; sisters, Blanche McCall Brady and Martha McCall Egan; son-in-law, Sidney A. 'Gus' Hempley of Columbia.
Mrs. Justice was employed by Grinnell Co. of N.C. and retired from Belk Department Store in Charlotte, NC.
She was a long time resident of Derita, NC, and was the oldest member of Cole Memorial Methodist Church, Charlotte.
Interment: Sharon Memorial Park Cemetery.
