Kerry Michael "Mike" Lewis, 39, of Ulysses, Pa., died Sunday (May 29, 2011) as a result of injuries sustained in an accident.
Born April 24, 1972, in Baltimore, Md., he was the son of Gary R. and Sherry Brutsman Lewis. He was a 1991 graduate of Jasper-Troupsburg High School. On July 29, 1995, in Ulysses, Pa., he married the former Chastity A. Thompson, who survives.
Mike was employed by Eisenheimer Chevrolet in Hornell and Kightlinger Motors in Coudersport, Pa., as an engine specialist for the following NASCAR teams: Jimmy Spencer, Jeff Burton, AJ Foyt, Ricky Craven and Geoff Bodine, and a carburetor specialist for all of the Roush/Yates race teams in Mooresville, N.C., and Lufkin-RMT in Wellsville for the last four years.
