TROUT CREEK -- Terry J. Lambrecht, 63, of Trout Creek, passed away Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009, at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City.
He was born March 21, 1945, in Walton, the son of Eston and Virginia (Puffer) Lambrecht.
He married the former Terry Irwin on Jan. 21, 1967, in Sidney Center.
Terry was self-employed as a truck driver. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1964 until 1966, during the Vietnam War.
Terry was a former member of the Sidney American Legion Post 183 and the Trout Creek VFW.
Terry is survived by his wife, Terry L. Lambrecht of Trout Creek; his mother, Virginia Lambrecht of Sidney; three sons, Jamie Lambrecht of Guilford, Todd Lambrecht of Goodyear, Ariz., and Jason Lambrecht of Hamilton; one daughter, Kelly Lambrecht of Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother, Gerry Lambrecht of Walton; one sister and her husband, Elaine and Scott DeVost of Sidney. Also survived by six grandchildren; and four nephews.
A private graveside service will be held in Vestal Hills Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
There will be no calling hours.
Contributions are requested in lieu of flowers, to the Trout Creek Fire Department.
Arrangements are by the Westcott Funeral Home Inc., of Unadilla.
