William Tyre Cooper, 81, of 2613 Sage Road in Houston, died Monday in a Houston hospital. Graveside services will be held for the former College Station resident at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the College Station City Cemetery.
The Brackenridge native was a member of Sul Ross Lodge No. 1300 A.F.&A.M. in College Station.
Survivors include two sons, W. T. Cooper Jr. of Houston and Rex L. Cooper of Houston; one daughter, Mrs. T. Y. Flynt of Houston; one brother, A. H. Cooper of El Paso; one sister, Miss Annie Mae Cooper of El Paso; 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
