Arlington, Ia.--Special: The funeral of Arch Derflinger, 67, was held here Wednesday afternoon at the Christian Church with the Rev. Edwin Hignett, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery.
Mr. Derflinger died Sunday at his home after a long illness.
He was born June 6, 1875, in Fayette County, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Derflinger. He farmed in this vicinity until two years ago when he retired because of ill health.
Surviving are his widow and one sister, Mrs. Mattie Carnall of Arlington.
One child preceded him in death.
