Ira Deloss Zobell, 68, passed away 5 July 1968 at the Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah, following surgery. Mr. Zobell was born 1 June 1900, at Provo, Utah, the son of Ephraim Andrew and Stella May Zobell.

He had lived in Ogden and formerly resided in Ronan and Butte, Montana. He was married 24 August 1921 to Amy Scholes in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died in 1958. 15 March 1961 he was married to Donna Gladys Wilkins, in Orem, Utah. He had been an irrigation specialist for the U.S. Government. He was a former president of the Chamber of Commerce in Ronan, Montana, and an assistant professor at the University of Montana. He was a former district president of the Northwestern States LDS Mission in Missoula, Montana, and was a high priest in the Ogden 2nd Ward.

Surviving are his widow, Donna; three sons, and four daughters, Rex S. Zobell of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Karl D. Zobell of Hacketstown, New Jersey, Keith W. Zobell of Elgin, Oregon, Helen (Chase) Shurtz of Escalante, Utah, Alma Ruth ( Leslie) Boyce of Quincy, Washington, Amy (Ferris) Clegg of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Janet (Steve) Wall. Also surviving are two stepdaughters, Birdene (Wendell) Covert of Layton, Utah, and Rosetta (William) Oarie of Los Vegas, Nevada; 17 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters, Dr. Claude E. Zobell of LaJolla, California, Henry E. Zobell of Odgen, Utah, Zelda (Lowell) Dalley of Parma, Idaho, Louise (William) Rogers of Murphy, California, and Elgarda (Laurn) Ashliman of Rexburg, Idaho.

Funeral services will be held Monday at Lindquist and Sons Colonial Chapel with Bishop David Doxey of the 2nd Ward officiating. Friends may call at the mortuary Monday prior to services. The body will be shipped to Ronan, Montana for additional services , with burial in the Mountain View Cemetery in Ronan. The family requests donations be made to the Heart Fund in lieu of flowers.
