Justin Corey Lamson, 16, of Bellefontaine, died at 1:12 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, 2005, at The Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus, from injuries sustained in an automobile crash.

He was born in Bellefontaine on July 25, 1989, a son of Frank S. and Susan K. Shirk Lamson, who survive in Bellefontaine.

Survivors also include a brother, John Christopher Lamson, at home; paternal grandparents, John and Charlene Jacobs of Bellefontaine and Frank and Cha Lamson of Pearl City, Hawaii; maternal grandparents, Eloise Shirk and James and Kate Shirk, all of Bellefontaine; and maternal great grandmother, Bessie Miller of West Liberty.

A sophomore at Benjamin Logan High School, he was a member of the marching band. As a freshman, he played on the soccer team and was planning to play indoor soccer this year.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bellefontaine, where the Rev. William Zeller conducts a funeral at 11 a.m. Thursday. Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine. Interment is in Harper Cemetery, Harper.
