Mrs. Jeanne L. DuFresne, 69, of 606 Kenilworth Dr., died yesterday at 1:30 p.m. in East Haven Nursing Home, Elyria following an illness of a year.

She was born in Cleveland and lived there 42 years before moving to Pasadena, Calif., where she lived 10 years. She returned to Sheffield Lake to live with a sister, Mrs. Margaret Buchanan. She was a member of St. Teresa Church.

Mrs. Dufresne's husband, Jere, died in 1947 and she also was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Anna F. Hogan in 1943. Survivors are four sisters, Mrs. Buchanan and Miss Catherine M. Black, Mrs. Rose Kozak and Mrs. Francis Newman, all of Cleveland and two brothers, Dennis and James Black, both of Cleveland.

Friends will be received at the Reidy-Scanlan Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today. Funeral services will be Friday at 8:30 a.m. in the funeral home and at 9 a.m. in St. Teresa Church. The Rev. Raymond Grismer will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.

As funeral services will be on Good Friday a requiem mass will be held in her memory next week.
