Joseph Giovanniello's Funeral is Tomorrow
A requiem mass will be offered tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock in St. Sylvester's Church, Concord, for Joseph Giovanniello of 24 Steuben street, Concord. The funeral will be from his home and burial will be in Silver Mount Cemetery, Silver Lake.
Mr. Giovanniello, who died Friday in St. Vincent's Hospital after a short illness, would have been 71 next Saturday. Born in Italy, he came to this country and to Staten Island about 65 years ago.
Until the time of his death, he had a shoemaker shop at the Steuben address.
Mr. Giovanniello was a member of the Progressive League of Richmond County and of the Altavilla Irpina Society, an Italian fraternal group composed of men who came from the town of that name in Italy.
Surviving are three daughters; three stepdaughters; five sons, a sister, Amelia living in Italy; 26 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
