Mrs Bowers was found dead at her home after suffering an apparent heart attack. She was lifetime resident of Barry county. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church. On 18 Apr 1924 she married Lee Bowers.
Mrs Bowers' survivors include children: Evelyn Maxine Nelson, Doris Kathleen Henbest, Carroll Lee, Ferrell Loyde & Jerrell Troy; sisters: Vicey Brooks, Elma Bishop, Lora Hammond, Gracie Elliott, Thelma Weaver, Myra Wireman, & Ruby Kinser; 13 grandkids, 11 great grandkids; several cousins, nieces & nephews; plus many other relatives & friends.
Rev Jerry Nickle conducted the services. Pallbearers were her nephews: Richard Wierman, Arlis Stockton, Royal Brooks, Bill Elliott, Doyle & Lavon Russell.
