War II Hero To Be Buried Tuesday

FUNERAL SERVICES for Pvt. Alexander Budzielek, Jr., 503 Hartwell av., East Syracuse, among the dead of World War II recently returned from the Pacific [sic] war area, will be held in Syracuse Tuesday.
A graduate of Eastwood High School, Pvt. Budzielek entered service April 7, 1944, and went overseas in September of that year.
He was killed in action in Belgium Feb. 26, 1945.
The body, will arrive here Sunday.
Pvt. Budzielek is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jane Zamory Budzielek; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Budzielek, 1513 Burnet av., three sisters, the Misses Frances and Helen Budzielek, and Mrs. John Sherman; five brothers, Peter, Raymond, Paul, Stanley and Frank Budzielek.

FUNERAL SERVICES will be conducted in the John Giminski funeral home, 1411 W. Genesee st., at 8:30 A.M. Tuesday and at 9 A.M. in the Church of the Transfiguration.
Burial will take place in the soldiers' plot of Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Eastwood Post, American Legion, will supply the firing squad and bugler for military services at the grave.
Members of the Pulaski Post of the American Legion will act as bearers.
