Orange Columbus Meadows and wife Nettie V. Sellers Meadows moved to the Mississippi Delta, Glen Allan, MS about 1940. They owned the Meadows Restaurant and Meadows Dollar Store.

He died in Hollandale, Washington, Mississippi, USA then his body was brought and buried in Sharon Cemetery. Nettie resided in Greenville, MS from 1978 until her death and she too was returned to be buried in Sharon Cemetery with her husband.
