MOLINE — Mary Jane McClean, 87, of Moline, passed away, surrounded by her family, at her home on Saturday, June 18, 2011.
Visitation will be Monday, June 20, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Services will be Tuesday, June 21, at 10 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1608 13th St., Moline. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Rock Island.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to the American Heart Association.
Mary Jane McLaughlin was born in St. Louis, Mo., on March 12, 1924, to Harry and Jane (Aubuchon) McLaughlin. On November 22, 1947, in Moline, she married John Richard "Dick" McClean, who preceded her in death on May 7, 1994.
She was a homemaker, and a longtime member of Sacred Heart Church.
Survivors are her daughters, Jane A. Wilson, Judy C. (Steve) Tagtmeier, and Patty M. (Mick) Jones, all of Moline; sons, John R. "Dick" (Jane) McClean, Jr. of Moline, and Timothy (Eileen) McClean of Deerfield, Ill.; a brother: Raymond (Jill) McLaughlin of Moline; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Lee and Jim McLaughlin, and a son-in-law, Michael E. Wilson.
