cause of death- influenzaMrs. Sarah Bayne Dies: Services for Henrietta resident were held this afternoon at two o'clock.
Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Ann Bayne, who died Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. B.B. Bryan, in Henrietta, were held this afternoon from the Methodist Church in Henrietta.
Mrs. Bayne was 85 years 10 months, 1 day old. She had been ill for several years.
She was born May 1, 1850, in Caldwell Co. She lived most of her life in Ray County. She was married to William Thomas Bayne in 1864. He proceeded her in death.
Mrs. Bayne is survived by a son, Henry Franklin Bayne, of Kansas City; five daughters, Mrs. Rosa Burcher of Kansas City, Kansas; Mrs. Susie Bryan, Mrs Cora Lewis, of Henrietta, Mrs. Ora Crump, Dacona, Colorado and Mrs Maggie Walker, Camden; 37 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren.
Serviced were conducted by the Rev. Elmer Josephson assisted by the Rev, H.D. Thompson. Burial was made in the Camden Cemetery. Joiner Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
Mr. Bayne was known as Grandma Bayne to most everyone. There are a host of relatives and friends and neighbors left to mourn her death.
