Claud Henry Haskell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Haskell, who reside 14 miles northeast of Chappell, passed away at his home after but a few days illness of pneumonia, on Tuesday March 16th at 4 o'clock. The little one had been sick since Saturday. He was born April 2, 1918, and at the time of his death was 1 year, 11 months, and 14 days of age.
He leaves to mourn his departure of this life, 2 sisters, Inez age 14, Helen age 6, and one brother James age 9, father and mother.
Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at 2:30 from the Kowanda Church under the direction of Undertaker Bracken and interment will be made in the Kowanda Cemetery.
