Mary G. McCullough "Munner" of Eastampton passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016, at her home surrounded by her family. She was 98.

Born is Philadelphia Jan. 12, 1918, Mary moved to Smithville as a child and as a teenager was the librarian of Smithville. She had a candy store in their home in Smithville where they sold candy and other canned goods as well as milk. Mary later worked at J. Chein in Burlington for a few years and then as a telephone operator, supervisor, and retired as a fraud investigator with NJ Bell which later became AT&T.

Mary was a dedicated member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church for over 70 years. She served on the Altar Guild, counted offertory money, and was a member of the Episcopal Church Women. Mary was the oldest living member of the church. Mary was also a community volunteer. She was a member of the Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and helped to run the Holly Shop and to set up the schedule for the workers and volunteers. She was a Charter member of Smithville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Mount Holly Female Benevolent Society. Mary loved her family, her church, her card clubs and the mother daughter club. She enjoyed going to dinner with her friends, traveling with her sister Eleanor, and her 4 PM cocktail hour with her sister Eleanor over the phone.

The wife of the late Clair H. McCullough; she is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Cameron (husband John, deceased); son and daughter-in-law: Robert W. and Patricia McCullough; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Joe Vaughn, Eleanor Barber, and Edith Wright.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 121 High St., Mount Holly. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly. Interment will be in St. Andrew's Graveyard.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
