Hannah was born on August 28, 1680, in Reading, the daughter of Cornelius Browne and Sarah Lamson. She married Abraham Wood of Concord in Reading on December 30, 1708. He was the son of Abraham Wood and Sarah Dakin, born April 16, 1684 in Concord. Abraham and Hannah lived in Sudbury until after the birth of Samuel, the first of their seven children, then they moved to Concord. In 1729, they returned to Sudbury, where they both lived the rest of their lives.

Abraham was a miller and caprpenter, running the "New" mills in Sudbury and contracting to build a new meeting house for Sudbury too. According to Sudbury vital records, Abraham died July 11, 1742, and Hannah died November 7, 1746.

Although there is no record of her burial, and apparently no gravestone exists, there is no doubt that Hannah is buried in this cemetery.
