OBITUARY:
Aiken – Ms. Vickie Lynne Black Adkins, 50, entered into rest Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010.
Vickie is survived by her, children; Christa (Jim) Wood of CA, Suzzanna Epperly of Salley, and Leland (Kyla) Rodgers of Aiken, grandchildren; Hannah Vinson, Kaison Vinson, Sierra Epperly, Dalton Wilkins and Charlotte Rodgers, sister Brenda (Mike) Wiley of Augusta, and brother Billy (Donna) Black of Martinez.
She was born in Augusta, GA, the daughter of the late William and Lois Thompson Black. Vickie was a longtime employee of Houndslake Country Club.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Merritt's Bridge Christian Church. The Funeral Service will follow at 4:00 p.m. with the burial in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Blizzard Funeral Home at P. O. Box 235, Wagener, SC 29164.
