****While George's birth yr. on his death certificate, is 1874, he gave his birth yr. as 1885, on his marriage license application when he married Etha Linda Stoner. He gave his birth yr. on his World War I Draft Registration as Jul 4, 1882, and this date was also given on the U.S., Social Security Applications and Claims Index, 1936-2007/Ancestry. His year of birth on his tombstone is 1875.

**** In June 1937, George Lape Rupert, applied for Social Security, giving his DOB as July 4, 1892, his Birthplace as Lebanon, Pennsylvania, and his Parents as Samuel Rupert and Lissy. Lissy might be a Transcription error, with her name being Lizzy. I believe George's Middle Name might be his Mother's Maiden name, that of Lape. Trying to find George's Parents, Samuel and Lissy/Lizzie, has been problematic, with no results as yet. I'm questioning if the 1892 might have been a transcription error; The original document is not available on ancestry.com.
