Lola T. WestOAKDALE- Funeral services for Lola Thompson West will be at 3 p.m., Thursday August 1, 2002 in the chapel of White Oaks with the Rev. Rudolph Gordon officiating. Burial will follow in Occupy #1 Cemetery, Pitkin under the guidance of White Oaks Funeral Home. Mrs. West, 97, of Oakdale died Tuesday, July 30, 2002 in the Savoy Medical Center of Mamou. She was a Baptist by faith and a homemaker.Mrs. West is preceded in death by her husband, Mallie West one daughter, Oleen Trevino and one grandson, Johnny Trevino. Survivors include one son, O'Neal West of Pine Bluff, Arkansas six grandchildren ten great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
