Arne Helle Holter, Son of Albert and Christine (Kitty) Wiese-Hansen of Brevik, Telemark fylke, Norway. Arne was served with the RNAF in WWII and lost his life when his plane, Spitfire ML144 331 Squadron crashed near the monastery at Vlodrop Limburg Holland...

While engaged in dive bombing in the Roermond area, the aircraft was hit by German ground fire and crashed.

The Norwegian pilot, Sjt. Arne Helle Holter, did not survive.
He rests at the 'Paters Franciscanen' monastery in Vlodrop.

is one of 250 Norwegians killed in the Netherlands.

All but Holter are repatriated to Norway
