SHERMAN - Nelda Janeas French, 75, passed away Monday, June 13, 2011 at Texas Health Presbyterian-WNJ in Sherman.
Funeral services for Nelda will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Fairview Cemetery Chapel, 1501 State Hwy. 91 North, Denison, with Harold Wagoner officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour before the service.
Nelda was born Aug. 8, 1935 in Delaware Bend, the daughter of William Arthur Ashcraft and Verlie Spencer. She married Cass French on May 7, 1957 in Bells. She was a member of Pecan Grove Baptist Church in Sherman; worked for Kress and Levi Strauss; had a long job in sales of Tupperware; retired from Sherman Independent School District.
She is survived by husband Cass; sons, Danny French and wife Patricia of Sherman, Bill French and wife Sherri of Howe; grandchildren Stephanie French, William French Jr., Cassidie Chapman, Kirk Reese, Kevin Reese; 12 great-grandchildren.
