Ila Belle Windham, 89, passed away quietly in Wichita Falls Thursday afternoon. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday June 18, 2011 at Tecumseh Cemetery, southeast of Abilene. The graveside services are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Windham was born on February 18, 1922 to James David and Lydia Mae (Bowles) Coffman in Abilene, Texas. She married Hollis Windham on June 12, 1947. The couple had two children. Mrs. Windham enjoyed reading the Bible and medical books. In her earlier years, she liked to garden. She also enjoyed entertaining in her home after church services.

She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Stephens of Wichita Falls, her son David Hollis Windham of Denton, Texas. Mrs. Windham also leaves behind two grandchildren, Briana H. Ashton and Keira Leeann Ashton.
