Mr. Crawford moved to Texas in 1870 settling first in Fort Worth. It was in Fort Worth that he married Miss Sarah Alice Dunn, who preceded him in death. The couple moved to Olney in 1906. He was a retired farmer and rancher. He died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. R.W. Paschall, where he had made his home since 1932.
Survived by one son - H.V. Crawford; five daughters - Mrs. T.M. Slith, Mrs. R.W. Paschall, Mrs. C.W. Cheves, Mrs. C.H. Poff, Mrs. R.E. Ball; one brother - A.A. Crawford; one sister - Eva Crawford; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
