Charleston - Mrs. Mary E. Bastin, 79 years old, of Charleston, died Monday in a Cairo, Ill. hospital. She was born March 19, 1886 in Sardis, Tenn., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Stanfill.
Her husband, P. L. Bastin died Nov. 29, 1956.
She is survived by a son, Jack Bastin; two daughters, Mrs. Virgil Hathhorn and Mrs. Darrell Simmons; a brother, Dread Stanfill, a sister, Mrs. Iva Grissom and three grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday in the McMikle Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
