(Date of birth on marriage license to Marcia in 1942) He joined the US Army in Clarksburg, WV, April 11, 1942, and married Marcia Zahn, Sept. 26, 1942 and was shipped overseas Feb 18, 1943. He was decorated with the Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon w/3 Bronze Stars and the Philippine Liberation Ribbon w/1 Bronze Star. Clayton and Marcia had four girls. After the death of Marcia he married Dorothy L. Taylor Dec. 13, 1975 and fathered a son.
