Born March 29, 1895 in Monongalia County, W. Va. Mr. Lemley was a son of Oliver and Anna Blair Lemley. A retired miner. Mr. Lemley was a mmber of the Olive Methodist Church at Pentress, W. Va.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Charlotte K. Lemley; one daughter, Mrs. Albert Sanders of Morgantown, W. Va.; two sons, Edward Lemley of Blacksville, W. Va. and Oliver Lemley of Mt. Morris, RD 1; five grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters; W. J. Lemley of Core, W. Va., Mrs. Clyde Johnson of Pentress, W. Va.; Mrs. Lloyd Headley of Wilkinsburg, Mrs. Flora Whitlatch of Waynesburg, and Mrs. Alma Lemley and Mrs. Geroge White, both of Morgantown, W. Va.
Lemley-Funeral services for Charles Hatfield Lemley of Mt. Morris, RD 1, who died Thursday, Feb. 26, 1953, will be held in the Olive Methodist Church, Pentress, W. Va., at 2 P.M. Sunday, March 1, with the Rev. Charles Huffman officiating, assisted by the Rev. Lloyd Headley of Wilkinsburg. Burial will follow in Olive Cemetary. The body will lie in state at the church from 12 noon Sunday until time for services. Friends will be received at the Weaver Funeral Home West ??
