The July 13, 1933 edition of the Robesonian included the following obituary: Rowland - Mrs. Lena Bracey, a consecrated and devoted member of the Ashpole church, died at Baker sanatorium June 6, 1933. Services were conducted from the residence by her pastor, Rev. J. M. Lemmon; interment was made in the Bracey cemetery near Rowland. The church, home and community have experience a great loss.
