Merchant's Son Is Shot While Investigating Noise at Rear Window
Investigating a noise he had heard at the rear window, Frank Cisarz, 21 years old, son of Joseph Cisarz, merchant of Leetsdale, was shot to death early yesterday morning by Negroes who had gained entrance to the Cisarz residence, 37 First Street, Leetsdale, by climbing a ladder and forcing a window leading into room on the second floors.
The youth died instantly, a bullet having pieced his abdomen, and when his father and mother, aroused by the firing of shots rushed to the room to ascertain the cause of the shooting they saw their son lying on the floor and a Negro bending over him, revolver in hand, searching the youth's clothing. The father and mother fled hastening to the home of William Richoss, a neighbor at 30 First Street where they spread the alarm.
The Negroes, after shooting Cisarz ransacked the residence and store obtaining about $27. then fled. Chief of Police John Webe of Ambridge summoned by telephone organized a posse to search for the men, but failed to apprehend them.

The coroner's jury yesterday returned averdict recommending the apprehension of the unidentified assailants of Frank Cisarz 21 years old of 37 First Street, Leetsdale, who was shot by three Negroes in his home December 10.
