Mabel C. Davis, died on Wednesday, October 20, 2004, at age 92, formerly of Beallsville, Md. She was the wife of the late Charles H. Davis. Devoted mother of Charles H. Davis Jr., and Joan Davis Holmberg. Cherished grandmother of Anne Lauritzen and Leigh Rand. Proud great-grandmother of Daniel, Kristen, Matthew and Allie.
Mrs. Davis, originally from Alexandria, South Dakota, graduated from Dakota Wesleyan University in 1934. After moving to Maryland, she taught English and music at Poolesville High School.
It was her wish that services be private. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Parish, P.O. Box 387, Poolesville, Md. 20837.
