Edmund L. Hollingsworth, 91, Sykeston, died Tuesday, April 3, in a Harvey hospital.

His funeral was Friday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Sykeston, with burial in Heaton Cemetery, Heaton, N.D.

A son of Charles and Eva Hollingsworth, he was born April 1, 1893 in Mound City, Mo. At age 5 he came with his parents to the Sykeston area to farm.
He was reared there and began farming on his own in 1913.

On Oct. 6, 1927, he married Alma Christensen in Dickinson.

They lived on a farm near Sykeston until 1956 when they moved to Heaton. They continued to farm there until retiring in the mid 1960s. In 1978 they moved back to Sykeston.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife; daughters, Mrs. Orville (Jean) Peterson, Bismarck, Mrs. Roscoe (Ardis) Iverson, Janesville, Wisc; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Frank and Ralph Hollingsworth, both Carrington; sisters, Mrs. Hattie Daniels, Sykeston, Mrs. Delphia Martin, Detroit Lakes, Minn.
