He was born in Kings Ferry, N.Y., Feb. 13, 1866, and had lived in Lima about 60 years.
His wife, Luella Bradley, died Jan. 22, 1953.
Mr. Bradley attended schools in rural New York state and later taught school there. In about 1895 he went to Chicago with Swift & Co. meat packers and subsequently became branch manager in Toledo, Erie, Pa. and Lima.
In 1898 he associated himself with the late Benjamin F. Thomas in forming the Lima Packing Company.
He spent his entire business life in Lima with the packing company, of which he was president for many years. During his business life, Mr. Bradley was interested in other undertakings including the Lima Home and Savings Association.
He was a director of the Savings Association for many years.
Mr. Bradley retired from active business about five years ago.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Calvin Selfridge of Winnetka, Ill. and Mrs. Harold Hildreth of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one son, David R. Bradley of Rt. 5, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert E. Bradley of Canton; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Shaw of Kings Ferry, N.Y. and Mrs. Charles Halstead of Cooperstown, N.Y.
Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Davis-Miller and Son Chapel with Dr. W. Wood Duff officiating.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
He was a member of the Market Street Presbyterian Church, a member and past president of the Lima Rotary Club, and a member and past president of the Shawnee Country Club.
