In the name of God Amen-
I Ruth B. Brank being weak and afflicted in body, but of sound mind and memory and desiring to will and dispose of my property do make declare and publish this as my last will and testament.
1st-In addition to what I have here to fore given Mary Foley I desire her to have the large bed head, feather bed mattress and furniture in the room occupied by the boarder, also one single bed-bed stead mattress and furniture, my breakfast table, dining room chairs, bureau, roll of matting and ten dollars worth of table furniture to be set a part to her by my Executor and all of said property to be delivered to her by my executor in a reasonable time after my decease.
2nd-I give and bequeath to my niece Lilla D. Smith four thousand dollars out of my money or bank stock.
3rd-I give and bequeath to my sister, Martha Eaves, my carriage and harness.
4th-I give and bequeath to Harriett Weir one thousand dollars out of my bank stock or money.
5th-I suppose there will remain of my money and bank stock about eighteen hundred dollars out of which I desire my executor to pay my debts, funeral expenses, and costs of administration, and apply four hundred dollars to buy a house and lot or lot of land for Lucinda Green, a colored woman and if anything else remains he will apply to the benefit of Aggie Brank, a colored woman, one hundred dollars, and what may remain of the balance of my money and bank stock and personal property to be disposed of as my executor may direct and think best.
6th-I desire my husband, E. M. Brank to have the possessions and use of my house and lot in Greenville as long as he may see proper and at his death or when he no longer desires to occupy it, I wish it sold by my executor and one thousand dollars of the proceeds placed at interest and said interest to be applied to paying the salary of a Presbyterian Minister in Greenville and the residue applied towards building a Presbyterian Church in Greenville--
I appoint Edward R. Weir my executor of this my last will and testament.
In Testimony where of I have here let my name this the 8th day of April 1867.
