Funeral service were held at 8 p.m. Friday at Morning Star Baptist Church in Thibodaux, for Priscilla Hawkins, a native and resident of Thibodaux, who died March 1998.
Visitation was at Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Thibodaux. A dismissal will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with burial following in
the church cemetery.
She was the mother of Ida LeBlanc of Thibodaux, Lillie Hawkins of Houma and Gloria Davis of Houston; sister of Floren Hawkins, Alberta Bennett and Rebecca Washington, Solomon Johnson Jr. and Alexander Johnson, all of Thibodaux. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hawkins Jr.; parents, Solomon and Cora Johnson; son, Raymond Hawkins Sr.; and three brothers, two sisters and two grandsons.
