Ashley Lynn Crawford, 25, passed away Wednesday January 19, 2011 at her home in Colville, WA. She was born August 14, 1985 in Colville, WA to Alan Crawford and Bonnie Brannock.
Ashley attended Colville schools until she moved to Kettle Falls, WA were she graduated from Kettle Falls High School in 2003. She enjoyed playing softball and was involved with the Children's Theater, acting in the play The Secret Garden. Ashley loved to create floral arrangements and worked for Main Street Floral which broadened her artistic ability. In 2007, she was blessed with becoming a mother, a title she cherished dearly. She became a mother again in 2008.
Ashley had a great love for music of all kinds from easy listening to heavy metal and everything in between. She enjoyed reading poetry and has written many poems of her own. Ashley liked to play in the snow as long as she was on a snowmobile cruising around the back country enjoying the beauty of the outdoors. She was an excellent cook and would watch cooking shows to learn new ways to cook. Ashley was looking forward to attending culinary arts school in the future. Her greatest love was to spend time with and caring for her two young boys. Ashley was a welcoming friend to everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Ashley is survived by her fiancé, Michael George and their two sons, Phoenix and Marley George of Colville, WA; mother, Bonnie Brannock and her husband John of Kettle Falls, WA; father, Alan Crawford and his significant other Rita Hill of Colville, WA; Brother Tommy Graham of Arden, WA; sister, Christine Graham of Medical Lake, WA; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles; godfather, Les Curtis.
There will be a memorial service in the spring. Danekas Funeral Chapel and Crematory has been entrusted with the arrangements.
