He was born on the old Allen ranch 12 miles south of Cedarville 67 years ago and was one of a family of seven boys. He spent his entire life in Surprise and up until about nine years ago was engaged in farming. When he retired he moved to Cedarville to make his home.
He is survived by one brother, Wylie Allen of Cedarville; one daughter, Mrs. Verna Rouse of Eagleville and six grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
