Mrs. Ethel Freda Gooch, 66, 212 N. Locust St., Florence, died today at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.
She was a native of Lewis County, Tenn., and a member of the Church of Christ.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Morrison-Elkins Funeral chapel, with Bobby Lowery officiating.
Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Jane Greer, Muscle Shoals; son, Jimmy Carmack, Florence; sisters, Mrs. Minnie Melson, Mrs. Roxie Gandy, Mrs. Leona Chasteen, Mrs. Lucille Mays, all of Florence; brothers, Dewey Warren, Huntsville, James Warren, Florence; four grandchildren.

Bearers will be Jimmy Simms, James Mays, William Mays, Willie Chasteen, Henry Herston and Willie Johnson.
