Mrs. Miller was born Deborah E. Gump on May 23, 1900, in the Holland area and was a resident of the Solomon area most of her life. She was a central operator for Holland Telephone for several years and worked for Gypsum Valley Bank for many years. She was a member of Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church in Abilene, Abilene Chapter Order of Eastern Star, Daughters of the American Revolution, Native Daughters of Kansas and Iris Club. Her husband, John, died in 1966. She is survived by a brother, Robert White of Wichita and several nieces and nephews.
