Funeral services for Richard R. Bramble, 51, of Clarinda will be at 3:30 pm, Friday at Walker-Merrick Funeral Home with Rev John Clark officiating.
Mr Bramble died Wednesday afternoon at Municipal Hospital.
He was born Nov 30, 1929, near Clarinda, the son of Lawrence and Elizabeth Welch Bramble.
On June 3, 1954 he was married to Beverly Maxwell who survives.
He had worked for Eaton Corp in Shenandoah.
He was a member of the Nodaway Lodge 140 AF&AM in Clarinda, serving as Jr Grand Deacon in the Grand Lodge of Iowa in 1973, and was also a member of the Royal Arch and OES, the Shenandoah Council 32 and Commandry 67 and White Shrine. He belonged to Moila Shrine in St Joseph, Mo. He was also serving as DeMolay Dad and secretary for the Nishna Valley Study Club for Masons at the time of his death.
Brother Masons of the Grand Lodge of Iowa will perform Masonic services.
Besides his wife of the home, he is survived by two children, Mrs Robert (Lisa) Miller and John Bramble, both of Clarinda, and two grandchildren. Brothers are Chuck of Clarinda, Paul of Rock Port, Mo, and Carroll of Belleville, Ill. Sisters are Mrs Bob (Marie) Smith of Essex, Mrs Ernest (Joyce) Anderson of Shenandoah and Mrs Melvin (Joan) Woehlert of Portland, Or. His mother, Mrs Elizabeth Bramble, lives at Essex.
