Paula Jean Frank, 38, of Prospect died Wednesday at Forbes Hospice in Pittsburgh after a long illness.
Born March 31, 1966, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Erwin and Genevieve "Jean" Thornton Stetor.
She graduated from Hampton High School and received a degree in English literature from the University of Pittsburgh. She enjoyed cats, dogs and horses.
Mrs. Frank was a member of St. Fidelis Catholic Church, where she was a lecturer.
She is survived by her husband, James "Jim" Frank, whom she married July 8, 1994; a daughter and a son, Maura Genevieve and Jacob Michael Frank, both at home; her parents of Wildwood; four sisters, Mrs. Edward (Karen) Pfender of Bristol, Bucks County, Mrs. Thomas (Terri) Duncan of Lawrenceville, Ga., Mrs. Gregory (Patty) Zajac of Prospect and Mrs. Andrew (Barbara) Mesaros of Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews and her mother-in-law.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
FRANK - Friends of Paula Jean Frank, who died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005, will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at EDWARD L. RAISLEY FUNERAL HOME, 387 Main St., Prospect. Everyone is to meet Saturday at St. Fidelis Catholic Church for a 10 a.m. funeral Mass with the Rev. James Murphy as celebrant. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery, Prospect.
A prayer service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to an educational trust fund for Maura and Jacob Frank, c/o Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 486, Prospect, PA 16052.
