MRS. LILAH L. ADCOCK
Mrs. Lilah L. Adcock, 91, Nortonville, died June 4 at the Jefferson County Memorial Hospital, Winchester. She had li8ved in Nortonville eight years.
She was born May 19, 1889 at Soldier, the daughter of John and Malvena Martin Riley, and spent most of her life in the Horton and Lancaster communities.
Mrs. Adcock was a member of Willing Helpers Ladies Club, Lancaster.
She married W. A. Adcock in 1912, at Lancaster. He died in November 1961. She also was preceded in death by a son, John Adcock, in 1960.
Survivors include a son, Ernest Adcock, Effingham; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were at 2 p.m. Friday at O'Trimble Funeral Home, Effingham. Burial was in Lancaster Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Village Villa Nursing Home, Nortonville, in care of the funeral home.
