S. SGT. ERNEST BUSH KILLED IN FRANCE

Staff Sergeant Ernest T. Bush, 23, son of Mr. and Mrs. Odell Bush of Elmwood, Rt. 1, was killed in action in France November 23, his parents have learned through the War Department.

Sgt. Bush entered the service in August, 1942, and had been on duty overseas with the 3rd Army since August, 1943. He was wounded in action October 28, 1944, for which he was awarded the Purple Heart. He returned to combat duty after recovery and was wounded again in November. He was back in action on the 15th, eight days before his death.

Before entering the armed forces, Sergeant Bush was associated with his father in farming. He is survived by his parents, three sisters and five brothers.
