It is possible that Polly (Skidmore) McAninch is buried in this cemetery, although no record of where she is buried has been found. Her husband and other family members are buried here, and their farmland was directly adjacent to the cemetery. Most of the grave markers were broken and unreadable over the years before the cemetery was destroyed.

Likewise, Polly's date of death has not been found, but can be estimated to be between 1846 and 1850. She was most likely alive in April of 1846, when she was named in her father's will. (Will of Joseph Skidmore, Lincoln County, Kentucky, Will Book P:106)

Polly is not listed with her husband and children in the 1850 census (1850 Indiana Census, Hendricks County, Franklin Township, Samuel McAninch household #259, p. 19, M432 R150).
