Macra Giffen was born March 28, 1886, a daughter of Orange and Luella Scott Giffen, and was married July 11, 1914 to Frank W Butler who survives. Mrs. Butler was a member of the Wakatomika Chapter of OES and the Wilson Chapel WSCS.
Survivors in addition to her husband are two sons, Woodrow E Butler of the home, John G Butler, Columbus and; one daughter, Mrs. John McFarland, Warsaw; one sister, Mrs. Lawrence Crawford, Nellie Route; two brothers, E.G. Giffen, Wichita, Kansas and Charles Giffen, Nellie route; and one grandchild.
Services will be conducted at the residence at 2 p.m. Monday in charge of Rev. Herbert Burkhart. Burial will be in the New Castle Cemetery.
