Mrs. Van Horn was born July 19, 1899 in Parkersburg, W.Va., a daughter of
William J. Reynolds of 48 Main street, south Zanesville and the late Ella
Rowley Reynolds.
Surviving in addition to her father and step-mother of South Zanesville are her
husband, Vernis; two sons, Dale Van Horn of 418 Abington avenue and Dean of the
home; a daughter, Mrs. William (Dorothy) Hiles of the home; six grandchildren; a
great-grandchild; two brothers, Clifford Reynolds of St. Louis, Mo., and Ralph
of Corning; and five sisters, Mrs. Lelea Burckett of 1527 Eastview avenue, Mrs.
Mabel Brenner of Walker, W.Va., Mrs. Beatrice Thomason of Hurst, Texas, Mrs.
Opal Wilson of near Adamsville and Mrs. Hugh Swope of Toboso.
