She was born August 16, 1944, in Glen Dale, daughter of the late Gene and Maxine McPeek Ray.
She was a member of the Moundsville Baptist Church. She was a retired nurses aide from Mound View Nursing Home.
Preceded in death by her parents and one son Scott Blake in 2010.
Surviving are her husband Loye Alfred Blake Sr.; three sons Loye "Butch" Jr. Blake, Brian Blake and Dennis Blake, and sister Sony Cuchta, all of Moundsville, W.Va.; brothers Timmothy (Peggy) Ray and Jim (Cheryle) Ray, all of Glen Dale, W.Va.; three grandchildren, Kayla, Amber and Heather; and three great-grandchildren, Adeline, Brock and Xander; some nieces and nephews.
Friends received Tuesday, June 14, 2011, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1109 Second St., Moundsville, W.Va., where services will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Thomas Steele officiating. Interment in Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery, Roberts Ridge.
