Ethel Jackson

Mrs. Ethel Jackson, 94, of Lepanto, died Sunday at her residence. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Lepanto and had lived in the Poinsett County community
for 35 years.

Survivors include three daughters, Reba Ham of Memphis, Ruth Oldfield of Jacksonville and Sue Bourland of East Prairie, MO; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Evert Jackson, and by seven brothers and one sister.

Funeral services have been scheduled for this afternoon at 12:30 at the Murphy Funeral Home chapel in Lepanto, with Greg Dills officiating.

Burial will follow in Potter Memorial Cemetery at Lepanto. Pallbearers will be Junior Benton, Richard Holiman, Stan Hattle, Nolan Knapp, Larry Steakley and M.G. Smith.

The family requests that persons wishing to leave lasting memorials consider the property fund of First Baptist Church of Lepanto.
