Scott did many things including caretaking, landscaping and employment at Jakes Cafe. Scott loved music, collecting live concert recordings and going to shows, especially the Grateful Dead and Max Creek. Scott loved animals, gardening, going for walks and other outdoor activities.
He very much loved and is survived by his mother, Barbara Alexander, sister Nikki Alexander and nephew Owen Quinn Alexander, all of Londonderry, Vt. Scott was predeceased by his dad, Ray Howard Alexander.
"Scotty" was known by many and a friend to all. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held in Londonderry at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 18, at the Second Congregational Church on Main Street, 2051 Vt. Route 11, with a reception immediately following at Jakes Marketplace Cafe in the Mountain Marketplace on Route 100.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Springfield Humane Society, 401 Skitchewaug Trail, Springfield, VT 05156. The family wishes to thank the wonderful doctors and staff at Rutland Regional Medical Center, especially the nurses on the 5th floor, and also to our friends and townsfolk who have reached out in sympathy and support.
